Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE), An all India examination that is conducted jointly by the IISc (Indian Institute of Science) and seven IITs on behalf of the NCB (National Coordination Board) - GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Govt. of India.
GATE is conducted through the constitution of eight zones, administered by IITs & IISc.
